HEAD OF RECRUITMENT
Big Media Group develops, from its headquarters in Lommel, national and international media activities, mainly in the areas of business reports. The content of the reports cover both editorial and commercial (advertising) perspectives.
Our company is strongly sales driven, but also fulfills a lot of other work in-house (eg. Backoffice, finance, graphic design,…)
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-orientated HEAD OF RECRUITMENT
Job Description
- You are responsible for the national and international recruitment of employees in Europe and the US
- You manage one part-time recruiter in Belgium and 3 freelance recruiters in the US
- You complete the selection from A to Z in the recruitment of international sales consultants, ranging from generating the necessary inflow, conducting in-depth interviews and evaluating assessments to the actual contract negotiations.
- The main focus of recruitment is on sales consultants, but occasionally you will recruit administrative people, call agents, team-leaders,… as well.
- If needed you travel within Europe in order to conduct recruitment sessions
- You work closely with Universities and High Schools in order to attract young potential sales consultants
- You work out a strategy to attract sales consultants with a few years of experience as well
- You conduct group assessments, role plays and interviews
- If needed you assist in general HR tasks (eg. implementing retention policies, improving the recruitment process, training preparation, etc.
- You operate from the Belgian office in Lommel
Profile:
- You have minimum 3 years relevant work experience within recruitment and selection, preferably in a sales-oriented organization
- You are a proactive entrepreneur with a results-oriented approach
- You are organized, proactive, dynamic and hard working
- You are passionate about HR and have a nose for finding sales people
- You are an effective communicator who can easily adapt to any environment and any person
- Your mother tongue is Dutch but you are fluent in English (oral & written) as well
- You are flexible and if needed you are willing to travel to conduct recruitment sessions
- You are a creative and strategic thinker who strives for continuous challenges.
